There's one thing i would like to emphasize, when someone said CANCER, do you know there are MANY TYPES of CANCER? it can be any CANCER. "Lung cancer", "brain cancer", "ovarian cancer", "nose cancer" and many more; THESE ARE PARTS of the body we commonly hear being affected by cancer.
It is not a type of cancer.
It seems many have been generalizing cancer as ONE disease/ sickness. IT IS NOT!
Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other part of the body.
There are more than 200 different types of cancer. You can develop cancer in any body organ. There are over 60 different organs in the body where a cancer can develop.
EXAMPLE, even for OVARIAN CANCER (cancer affecting the ovaries), there are more than 30 different types of it which are classified according to the type of cell from which they start. Cancerous ovarian tumors can start from three common cell types:
Surface Epithelium - cells covering the lining of the ovaries.
Germ Cells - cells that are destined to form eggs.
Stromal Cells - Cells that release hormones and connect the different structures of the ovaries
Before taking ANY supplements, please check with YOUR DOCTOR, the one who decide what regimen for your chemo, CHECK with them if the supplements are compatible with your chemo drugs or your current body condition?
I know, those selling supplements meant well.
But please, if ONE TYPE of supplement can cure all CANCER, why do the scientist and doctors need to use DIFFERENT types of chemo DRUGS for different types of cancer.
Please, for everyone's safety, please kindly identify how can the supplements be effective for your type of cancer, based on which stage you are diagnosed with and with your current body condition (some ppl might have allergies, hbp, diabetics or other diseases alongside cancer).
Same goes to food intake and restriction, please please please... you can listen to people who show you concern and people who share to you because they care, BUT PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR.
Don't you think DOCTOR know best?
Otherwise why did you go and get diagnosed in the first place?
and why did you believe in the doctor's diagnosis?
yet in the end chose not to follow their advice, and instead follow other unidentified sources.
I believe in my doctors and nurses. I believe in my family and love ones. I believe in God. I believe in MYSELF!
